Default how about a "Thread Of The Week" ?

Just a suggestion, how about a "Thread Of The Week" ?
Perhaps the moderators, who are best placed to sift through
the threads, could earmark one in particular (1 per Mod)
then decide between themselves which should be deemed the
diamond in the rough. Just the name of the originator of the
thread, and a link to it would do. It might mean that a really
useful tip, or a very funny thread would be brought to the attention
of many who would otherwise have missed it.
How best to bring this "Thread Of The Week" to everyone's attention
is the thing, though, not knowing how the forum system works.
    Saludos,
    Bob.

Interesting idea, though I'd prefer to see this working via nominations from regular members. If you think it's a candidate, PM a moderator

That way we mods would only need to 'sift' through the nominated threads rather than all moderators needing to read all threads across all forums (which we don't by the way..)

'TalkGraphics Announcements & Feedback' forum would be the obvious place to annouce the Thread Of The Week, though that still doesn't guarantee readership.

    What Steve said.

Also, there are so many different interests and skill levels - a general consensus would probably work better for something like this.

Then again, simply reading and posting to threads, is a bit like a vote too for a thread (in terms of views/replies). Sure there are exceptions to views/replies generalization, but regular visitors already filter things that are clearly of no interest to them.
