hi Egg,
There is about 1" difference between the 2 nodes you referenced at 25601%. The line thickness is what really hides it. I just dropped the line width to .01 pix and was able to grab the difference really easily.
If I need pur accuracy on a slice and dice, then I zoom way in and add nodes at exactly the crossing points. Particuliarily on curves... Then I get accurate cuts with no artifacts... Just remember to zoom in all the way when you add your nodes.
John, you're missing my point. I'm well aware there are 2 nodes and if I zoom in I can see them. But at 100% zoom using the shape editor tool, drag selecting over the shape does not reveal these 2 nodes. Because there are 2 nodes close together, XXP shows no nodes. That's the point I'm making.

Ahhhh... I guess I have just one thing to say to that...
Time to quote Rosanne Rosanandana...
"Never Mind"...
Then again... Maybe the lack of nodes is XXPs way of saying a proximity warning...
Then I have another quote for that...
"Danger, danger Will Robinson... Danger"
I am tired and getting goofy, better go to bed.
