Default error message, but no big deal.

When Xara loads I get the attached message along with the
splash screen. I'm just opening the program and not a
specific .xar file. I don't recall saving anything directly to a disk
in my F: drive. I'd like to know if there's a way to stop Xara looking
for whatever it wants to open. Any suggestions?
    Saludos,
    Bob.

Bob it may be that a gallery or maybe a texture reference was loaded from the F: drive.

You can check the registry to see if there is a reference to F: drive.

Open Regedit. Start Menu > Run > type regedit and hit Enter key.

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Xara\XaraXtremePro\Gall ery\ClipartGallery
Look for any entry that refers to the F: drive.

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Xara\XaraXtremePro\Gall ery\FillsGallery

Thanks Bill, there's nothing in the 3 destinations in the registry
that refer to anything other than my D: drive, where all my data
is stored. Please don't bust your brains on this one, though, as
I only have to click on the continue button, and Xara loads normally.
    It's just idle curiosity.
    Saludos,
    Bob.

I used to get this all the time at one stage with the DL version of 3.2 I found that it happened when I'd closed Xtreme with one of the galleries docked. If I closed the docked gallery before closing Xtreme, the error didn't occur next time I opened it. Sometimes it cured the problem for a few days.

As with you Bob, nothing had been opened from an external source, the error is a bug, but I'd never bothered to go any further with it because after installing from the CD it hasn't happened.

That's odd, Steve, I just closed Xara with no galleries docked,
and restarted Xara and no error message. Running 3.01 from
    the cd installation.
I'll post again if it resurfaces, thanks,
    Bob.

My experience is, it happens everytime I start Xara while a CD is loaded in CD drive, e. g. playing music. If I eject the CD during Xara session and then close the program, when starting Xara next time the error message appears. If I remember correctly, I had to put the CD back into the drive, start Xara, close it, eject the CD, and then start Xara again without CD in drive.

I get that message when I open MS Money (older version) after I was using drive to burn CDs. Found that if I went to My Computer Right clicked on the CD Drive chose eject (even though there is no CD in drive) then closed it it was ok until the next time I burned CDs.
    Try it
