pantone and CMYK together for print

Hi,

I like to hear from people that have used xara for prepress dealing with CMYK and lets say 1 pantone all in one layout.

I know how to specify pantone and cmyk but does the pantone need to be on its own layer if i was to export it as pdf?

I never export layered PDFs
No problems with CMYK+Pantones on same layer
overpinting between them working ok

mini you mean use overprint command on the pantone?

I mean to use overprint fill/outline whatever I want/need

Pantone over CMYK, CMYK over Psntone... etc
