Linking Text in CD X3

I have created my companies entire Catalog in several CorelDRAW files, Currently I am working with X3. Because of the nature of our products there is more than one location where I reference the same part number, and list prices.

I have been looking through the Help files and I guess I do not think I know what exactly I am looking for. BUT can I link 2 bits of text so that when I change information in one place the information changes in a second, third and fourth place as well in the same file and in multiple files?


ALSO can I automatically number pages in CDX3? its seems silly that I cannot figure it out.

hi,
you can create the page numbring by running this VBA: "CorelMacros.PageNumbering"

for linked texts, I don't think that it is possible in multiple files .

but it's possible to create an instance of an object in the same document, by using the clone tool (select the object, then edit>clone), you can have as many clones as you want, and any changes done to the master object, it will be done to its "children".
