    Thanks for pointing me in the direction of your tutorial, Gary,
    I adapted the section on the text to suit my needs, very
    straightforward and quick and dirty. I like the results, too.

    Here's a tile created from the AGA Arabesque Desktop Font,
    using the same enamelled technique as in my previous post.

    That looks really good Bob. Not sure that it looks enamelled, but the overall effect is very pleasing.

    Thanks for posting the .xar file, Ankhor.
    I like the Eye Candy Glass Filter.
    Nothing wrong with plugins, whichever
    tool does the job best is fine by me.

    I was singing the praises of Alien Skin
    plugins recently, and the Eye Candy
    ones are pretty neat too.
