Default Need help exporting to jpg of gif

I created a new logo for my company web site in CD12. In CD it looks great. When I export it to a jpg or gif file even going as high as 1200 dpi, it still looks grainy and has jagged edges when I import it into MS Frontpage and upload the web page to the net. I'm obviously doing something wrong. Can someone help me to get a nice looking image onto my web site.
    Thanks

    hi,
it would be betterif you put the link to the image, but I think that I know the solution

when you export to JPG format, after choosing the file name and its folder, a windows will come "convert to bitmap" (where you choose the resolution).
In this window check "anti-aliasing" box, this will avoid the stairs looking on the edges.
