Outline fonts and breaking apart

Hello, all --
I need to outline fonts and break apart each individual font so I can reshape them.

Not quite sure how to do that -- I have Xtreme Pro 3.2.3 (lastest version, I assume)

I don't think you really need to outline them... just type your text and convert to editable shapes (arrange/convert to editable shape). Ungroup and each letter will be a shape with nodes you can pull around - reshape - etc. (use the shape edit tool -F4)

you need to do the ungroup twice for the letters to become separate shapes
