Question 3D effect on a poster

    Hi All,

I am totally new to this site, but wow you guys rock.

I am a comedian in South Africa who does his own posters and fliers (for 10 years but still struggling)

My new show is about feelings/perceptions (Mark Sampson Feels Funny) and I'm going for my face set in an optical illusion style hypnontic spiral.

Any ideas how to make this striking from a distance so my head appears to be almost coming out at you!

So far I have google images of some crazy spirals but an effective 3D looking overlay of my head shot is way beyond me.

Thanks you and sorry for the waffle

    Hi Mark
I attach a concept interpreted from what you wrote. If you had a higher resolution headshot I could add it and give you a image to which you could add your own text. The spiral background is something I made so you would not have any copyright issues.

That is getting close, sorry I've been silent, I had to run the show.
It went well. This is the image I used.

Needs to be as tunnel/vortex as possible with some sense of depth as I am ment to be flying out of it.

I will lower myself so you can see the centre of the vortex but it really needs something special to be eye catching on A1 posters on lamp posts from a distance.

The problem is seeing the background, feeling the depth and movement but keeping my face large.

    Thanks, you guys are amazing!
