Blimey! that was swift, Steve. Of course you were right.
I had tried F11 thinking that was the key to toggle full screen,
but it brought up the Bitmap gallery.
I'll have to pay attention to the keyboard shortcuts more closely in future.

Happened to me a couple of weeks ago. I was on the verge of posting a question when I thought of full screen mode. Had to go to the help files before I found the right keys though.
I have found Xara's help files are a lot more useful than most!
