Hi,
To make organising objects easier, it would be great to be able to cut & paste stuff on new layers. Ctrl+Alt+Shift+V would then create a new layer and paste in place.

This could be a great time saver.
If I remember correctly, there is a key for moving objects up or down to the next layer.
