    Hi all,

At work, installed Xara X1 from the disk and registered it just fine on the Admin account (where I do my updates for Norton and other admin things), boot over to the User account and Xara X1 wants me to register AGAIN and it won't go through.

Charles, anyone, I need a fix for this. It's irratating to start up Xara X1 and have that nag screen in my face each time!! http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/mad.gif

    Thanks
    Richard

    Richard,

Check in the registry for the current user, under the software/Xara/XaraX1/options there should be a key for register - make sure it is set to 1.

Thanks Christine, I'll make a note of that one! http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

What I did was temporarily set the User account to Admin privilages, rebooted the computer and then started up Xara X1 under that account and all was fine, then reset the account back to where it was, rebooted and started up Xara X1 and it seems to be registered correctly now. Geeez, should have done that the first time this happened a month or two back!! http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif

Thanks for the info Christine! http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/smile.gif
