How do i apply a drop shadow to text

A drop shadow to my text?

Also how can i invert text like my logo at interstatehosting.net
i want to make another logo with text like this and i'm not having any luck.

Copy your text and use the selector tool option to flip the image. Then you can play with transparencies and so on to get it how you like. For a shadow just click on the shadow tool, then the object and drag while you are holding down the mouse key. Easy as pie with Xara.
