live preview window

i don't really know if it's a good place to share an idea like my here
but if not then please (mods and admins) move it to right place

my idea is to have a window in xara which would show live prewiew of selected region

i think it would be almost the same "module" as in export window with almost the same functionality

advantage would be to speed up creating exports
beacause now you have to go into export module
set params (thanx god xara remembers settings)
and then export

with such extra window user could see the effect on the fly

this window could have a checkbox "live" or "on demand"
and it could be scalable or the same size as color explorer

if there would be a path browse element it could export with one click if path is already set

i think it would be nice functionality hmmm?

Hi Pixel,

This may not be exactly what you are looking for but you can do something similar to this with curent Xara functionality. If you go to Window/New View in the menu, it will create a second view of your current drawing that you can set properties for, like zoom and you can even point it a specific area of the page. The only catch is that if you move the page of one view (i.e. with the push tool) the other view's page will not move with it. Oh and you aren't limited to just 2 views either. You can create multiple views as long as you have the space on the screen.
