Need your expert advice on color for press

Hi friends,

Well I will attach the layout below, the part that is circled is the area that once I had a color proof done before going to press printed green.

I got this image (water) from istock, I converted it to CMYK then moved it to my xara and added text and finally output as pdf.

Somehow this one spot is green. I had the printers color correct it.
I will ask them soon what was the issue.

But for now wanted to get your advice, why did that one area come out green?

I will put a low res one, but basically its the same pdf export.

I did a test in photoshop and found out that only that area has more green to it than other areas in the picture.
