Hi John, the slider was at 100% and thanks Scotty and ss-kalm for testing.

Your kind assistance is most appreciated. As I said - it must be my monitor. It is a great pity as it has put me off one of my projects.

Thank you everyone for all the help.

Jaggy free zone here too, Barry.
...or to misquote Sledger - it's an optical illusion, it just doesn't look like one.

OTOH, I am seeing some jags on a Lenovo/IBM ThinkVision 19" at 1600x1200. Not terrible, but they're there. And it's not just the red & green. I've been having the same problem in SWiSHmax with red circles on white.

As for ClearType, having it turned on is the only way I can work with an LCD (no surprise), but I'm very aware of the colors in the anti-aliasing. I can't tell you how badly I miss my CRT.

    Hi again Barry
    Some cross posting above.
Just seen your work for Christmas, that's a very nice
use of Paintshop Pro for the shading.
    Very festive, nice job.
    Saludos,
    Bob.

Just a thought, Barry, do you have another vector application with
which you could create some similar red and green shapes?
If the result is the same, you'll know it's your monitor and not Xara.
    Saludos,
    Bob.

    Barry
Very nice Santa! I like the hand coming out of the elbow hole you added

Some colors on certain backgrounds appear that way.
Note the gold looks fine. Try another shade.

    Hi Bob

I took your advice and did some Vector circles in Paint shop Pro - - - the jaggies are still there but not as bad, but who wants to work with vectors in anything else but Xara?? I will just have to shelve my circle idea or change the colours.

If the cross posting was about my images, i was just being a tad sensitive about my colour scheme I could not put them in the gallery as they are not shaded in Xara. Thank you for your kind comments though and help.

you see an elbow hole do you? well I see a pair of sagging boobies now with black things hanging off the end! Thanks for pointing that out, I will go and fix that immediately. It is amazing that sometimes, we just don't see things and it takes someone else to point it out. Thank you.
