Hair strands

I was thinking that the difficult thing about drawing human hair, is the multitude of strands and the complex lighting.

I made these using the blend tool along with the bevel tool.

This is a very simplified drawing of full heads of hair.
It is just made up of 2 blends and a background shape.
I wanted to create an easy method on which to draw a complete head.

no offence because i'm sure that i couldn't do anything to match that because they do look good but they look like wood effect...........maybe mrs pinochio (sp) would like hair like that
