Well... just read the feature comparison list, and ... boo...

Perhaps they could have excluded the modeling tools all together, except for text, terain, hair, and sculpting... and should include more render options, as well the ui customize... to really make it a lightweight, heavy hitter, scene creation/rendering/animating toolset for imported content... making it worth being in that part of the pipe.

It's really time to wow the crowd... there are very few secrets to modern day 3D toolsets, and various methodologies ... shape it, loop it, sculpt it, texture it, light it, rig it, take 1... take away the shape it, loop it tools and bring it on Daz

I haven't purchased it yet but it sounds like a great deal.
Total of 49.47 including platinum membership with option to upgrade
to Carrara standard 6 for an additional 89.57 for a total of 139.04

Just to add here, we are not attempting to bash Carrara, the software...

rather... the silly levels of Carrara offered, and subsequent chosen features offered within such... example... the "bridge tool" offered in the pro version, yet not the standard version... ah come on already...

or, toon renderer with standard, yet not with the intro "express" version... first thing the kids looked for...

Just a few little things...

but yea, great deal non the less... such power at the finger tips for but a hundred and change... thanks for posting the cost sum...
