    Default Text to circle problem

Never having a problem with fitting text to a curve before - I come across a job that needs to be reproduced un vector. Fitting the test to a circlular path has me stumped right noe. I can easily fit the TORRES STRAIT to the upper part of the circle, but I'm baffled atm with fitting the REGIONAL AUTHORITY to the lower part of the circle without the text flipping upside down

I've sliced the circlular path in half and tried that way, but the text still flips upside down...

    What have I overlooked?

Select lowest half circle line and switch the start and end points of that line...

I just tried this and have done it many times before. I draw the circular path or ARC manually using the Shape editor tool and then select the text and the curve and fit text to curve and it works. Maybe it has to do with you using a slice of circle instead of drawing the curve?

Thank You Alex!! That was exactly the answer I needed!

Gosh talk about missing the obvious....

a4hire: Yes that works too. Howeverslicing the same circle in half is I feel more accurate in this instance.

    Thanks guys
