Scaning an image

How can I scan an image into Xara Xtreme 3.2 or can I?

Xara does not support twain, so you must scan it using some other software and the resulting bitmap can then be imported into xtreme

XaraXtreme has no TWAIN support, it is unable to 'aquire' from a scanner.
However, there is a neat work-around I came up with if you own a Canon scanner (may work with other scanners, depending on the software)

With my Canon LiDE25, in the Toolbox options, I set the SCAN button to open the result with XaraXtreme - thus the result is that you 'scan to Xara'...
