    Default Where are the Pantones?

Hello,..I read some place that XaraXtreme Pro has Pantone colors available in the color choices. I do not see them anywhere,..What's up? I have been asked to use a Pantone Gray 404 and all I can do is use a CMYK equivalent because I see no Pantone colors available....

    I'm using Extreme Pro 3.01

Checkout the Color Gallery (the button with six colors inside a rectangle).

Not a stupid question at all. There are probably a dozen users, new and old alike who just uttered a collective sigh at this revelation.

    make that 13.......................<sigh>

what are pantone numbers? are they shown too?

the reason i'm asking is because i got some vinyl stickers cut and i want to put the correct colour on my website (i'll do a graphic of the stickers in xtreme as they are not showing well when i photograph them) so i asked the sign company if they had RGB values for the different coloured vinyl (about 10 colours) and he's just replied saying he doesnt' have RGB values but he does have pantone numbers

I have no idea if this will help as what I know about professional printing can be engraved on the back of a small postage stamp

thanks and don't think they can engrave on postage stamps.................... now pin heads are different

i've just discovered the 'find' option in the pantone colours and found most of them but maybe 4 or 5 don't look the same colour as the stickers i've had made so feel back to square one now

Pantone numbers are typically listed as PMS XXXX or Pantone XXXX

    See Wikipedia reference http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pantone.
