Default 'Transparency type cannot be held in a standard bitmap'

After creating an image using certain Transparency types, a bitmap can not be made from it without losing the effect.
    This is xtremely annoying.
Why? and is there a work around except for doing a screen dump.
It seems such a waste of some brilliant tools.

You should be able to make a bitmap from any drawing. This warning only applies when making an alpha channel bitmap as the transparency type of the alpha channel can only be mix meaning that other transparency types used over no objects wont merge with a background properly. E.g. if you just draw a green rectangle with stained glass transparency and create an alpha channel bitmap from it, the bitmap will not behave like a bit of green glass.

So, assuming you aren't trying to get the transparent effects to work correctly with whatever background is behind the bitmap then simply create a "normal" 24bpp (truecolour) bitmap.
