Contour Tool v2.0

Sorry this conflicts with the animated avatar.
Those affected by strobe lighting shouldn't
view this for more than an hour at a time.
I found this easy way of making an animated
transmitter using the contour tool.
This is probably a hoary old question,
but is there a way of making the
background transparent?
(This version has the forum background colour).

Bob,

To make the background transparent, check the "Make background transparent" box in the Animation Export Options window.

Remember to always try to render your transparent gif against the background it's going to be viewed on to avoid jaggies.

Thanks for the tip Egg.
I put the contour animation on a map I
posted here some time ago, and the
filesize is suitable for attaching to emails.
very useful. It certainly draws attention
to where you want it.
