Rock Band Logo Design

This is a design I just made for a band using Xara LX. Background is set with "conicle' with "repeat" and then turned. I had to do the text with the WI and then the ED seperate, set approp. spacing, then made the "K" and a duplicate / reversed.
From there I simply used the mold shift to alter the K until I was happy with the effect. I then applied fractal cloud trans. to the text....
Just a few simple steps to create an (I feel) pretty cool lookin logo....

Thank you Mark, Actually, Im just waiting to hear from them. I'm sure theyll like it, but Im still working on some more variations. I know one of them would like a "stone" effect to the logo....

If they are a rock band, then a stone effect might be appropriate

The design is very good but the colors make them look like a soft rock band.

The colors are too tranquil. Don't you think?

If you want, download a free trial from Xara and try it yourself ... any problems people here are only too willing to help.
