1. Shadows don't rotate correctly.

Shadow an object. Rotate it. Note that the shadow is offset in the same direction and by the same amount as in the original image, even though the source has been rotated.

2. When downloading movies, each successful download steals focus from the main application.

Hi,

In your second observation, was the movie downloading at the time and you were not able to work in Xara X1?? Or.......?? Please elaborate a bit more. Charles may need to be contacted.

It is a deliberate feature as the direction of the light remains constant - it doesn't get rotated, so no matter what you do to your object the shadow remains in the same original direction - which you can move just by dragging the shadow. You'll find the bevel does the same - the light direction remains constant on the object that is being moved or rotated.

We are aware that focus is taken from Xara X between each movie download. Slightly irritating but not in a fashion that should interrupt your working in any way.
