This error usually indicates that an object does not have another appearance in the next frame. The animation will play but there will be no tweening from one frame to the next.

In order for an object to tween, the object must be named and must appear in consecutive frames. So, for example, if you have a named object in frame two and then the object does not appear again until frame four, you will get an error and the animation between the named object will not occur.

The June 07 Xara Xone Tutorial explains the process.

    I hope this helps.

    Thanks for the reply.
I figured out what I was doing, I was trying to tween between to differently named pics. I wanted to go from a small image with no glow to a larger image with a glow.

    Yeah, that won't work.

But you could make the glow a separate named object and tween from a 100% transparent instance and a 0% transparent instance.

Where there's a will there is usually a work around.

I'll play around with that idea, I'm a newby so lots of things to learn.
