Accessing fonts

I have a "logo maker" tool which comes with a few quite nice fonts. Some of these don't appeare in Xara's font list. Is there a way to access fonts which come with other software?

And, if I would download a certain font - in which directory should I place it?

If you place the fonts in Windows Fonts folder they should show up in all programs.

Or you can open the Font Gallery, press Disc Fonts... and browse to the folder on the CD where the fonts are.
