Email client is Outlook 2003, messages pre-screened by Mailwasher before downloading to the PC.

Occasionally use Gmail online and my ISP's webmail service if accessing mail while not at home.

I am one of those who use webmail such as Gmail, Hotmail etc. These types of accounts are safe as I think.

I was using PopPeeper until last month, but I changed to MailWasher because of problems I had and wasn't sure if PP was the cause.

I use Incredimail Premium (with its own JunkfilterPlus) and couldn't be happier. I have been using it for years.

Me too. It's actually meant for kids really, but if you get their letter creator software it's great for making professional headers and footers which are picked up by the majority of other email clients. It also has a great facility where you can set rules and state that anything with certain trigger words or phrases are deleted from the server so you never even actually download them.

I use Mozilla Thunderbird, like Firefox there are all kinds of add ons for it. Once you have trained the junk mail filter it works great. I have used Xara to design headers that I've inserted into an e-mail and then saved as a template. I also have an add on that allows me to insert custom smilies that I design in Xara of course.
