mould tool

Hi

need to modify some text with an effect using the mould tool. I need the mould to be symetrical and I'm having great difficulty acheiving that.

Is there a way using the default envelope of moving the adjusment points in tandem or is there a plugin to make it easier?

You can shift-select more than one mould handle at a time and they'll all move in tandem, but I can't see any way that you let you do it in such a way that if you move one left, the other one moves right.

If you set up some guidelines you could use snapping to make things symmetrical.

If you move the crosshair, then the 2 points associated with that crosshair will move in tandem.

Thanks for that doesn't seem to work for the secondary points ie ok on the corners of the rectangle but not the other points.

Think it's back to the grid
