Installing from the CD?

Greetings,

I downloaded and purchased the Xara program about a month ago.
Today my CD arrived. Yea... I want to install it as I've read the full plug ins and movies are on the CD.

My question is: Do I need to uninstall Xara and reinstall using the CD or can I just pop the CD in and it will install what is not already on the hard drive? I dread having to go thru the updates and licensing, etc. and would like to avoid the uninstall/reinstall.

I just installed mine on top of the D/L version. (Windows XP).
