    Default Flatening Images

    hello. I'm wondering how to flaten or imbed my finished image soit is printable anywhere. i have emailed art and i got back
    "fonts were probably not imbedded properly".....

    Best thing is to convert your text to editable shapes before you export it to (I presume) PDF.

    MINT!.. so part 2 , if i have picures that are from fonts"dingbats" i presure i have to do that to them also...i can just select the whole page and conver the entire thing..

    If the entire page is composed from non-standard fonts - sure.

    (Standard would mean common fonts which are present on practically everyone's computer by default - though this is conditional)

    I have selected all the items in a drawing and hit "convert to editiable shapes" and had no problems. Normally, I try to put all my fonts on one layer, then just make that layer editiable and convert everything there to an editable shape.

    the only drawback is you can't unconvert it.... So I usually make a copy of the file right before I send it to print, and that is where I convert to editiable shapes...
