Irritation with Vista

I have installed XXPro on a laptop with Vista Business.
XXPro seems to work fine but the Xara Picture Editor has all the controls blanked out with red crosses...making them unavailable.
I don't use the pic editor much but it is a bit irritating. I have installed the program as administrator.
This is not too serious for me but it would be nice if it did work.

Just an added note to using some programs with Vista. If you do not want to turn off the User Account Control (UAC).

You can right click a programs shortcut (can be desktop or start menu shortcut) and select "Run as Administrator".

This will allow the program to run with full control and access to register it's components.
