    Default So you want to draw a car?

    Just to let you see some of the bits/work involved.

    And that just shows the parts, not all the work in creating those parts like shading, tranparencies, clipviews, etc.

    Thank you Ron and Ren.
    Ren, I started out trying to explain how it is done step by step but while it is easy to do it's hard to explain the method, which is tracing the various parts one by one (I use the pen tool for this) then colouring them accordingly. It also entails using layers (only two). The first layer is the original photo of a car with the editing device switched off.
    the second layer is where you do the tracing. I will go no further than this at the moment. I have attached the .xar file for you to click on and then let you dissect the various objects and hope you learn from this how it is done. If this is still not clear let me know and I will try and do some sort of tutorial, something I have never attempted before.

    The Exploded car looks like a piece of modern art in it's own right Norman. You could probably sell it for a cool half a million.
