Question Xara Registry - Missing Shared DLL?

Hi Gang - I was checking out the Registry when I ran across these two...

I figure the 1st one is the Font is just some where else... not sure what the 2nd one is either...

And, what is the bit about a 'Missing Shared DLL? Thanks - Tom

Just to let you know that there's no mention of Xara in the HKLM\S\MS\W\CV\Shared DLLs\ branch of my Registry on this Vista machine.

(Lots and lots and lots of entries for Corel and lots and lots for Real, but nothing for Xara at all.)

Smile Re: Xara Registry - Missing Shared DLL?

    Hi,

I already noticed in the past. The issue was related to a couple of FONTS that Xara X1 installs (register) in windows, without copying them in C:\WINDOWS\FONTS. It happened also to me that (not sure how) the package was uninstalled, but the Font registration was not deleted from the registry. You can Delete those two entried from the registry, and if you like put the old XARA X1 CD and from the Control Panel go to Fonts, select File/Install New Font, Browse on the XARA CD until you find the two fonts, BE SURE you have the checked "Copy Fonts to Fonts folder" and install it.

    Regards.
