Depending on how wide the box is it could be several different things...

    1. If you are exporting something other than a rectangle as a jpg, then xara will fill the remaining with the background color...

    2. If you have a thin white outline then your shape is not in whole pixels...

    3. If you have a white recatangle behind your shape and have mistakenly exported the white shape... You will get a white border.

Can you post an example of the garbage, then we can let you know what you did wrong...

Sorry... can't see the graphic without logging in... I am not going to log in... sorry.

From the graphic you posted, you need to lay your graphic on the same color background then export it as a png... Your jaggies will disappear

sorry bout the log in thing, didnt think of that.

the pic posted shows up on the forum with a big white box around it now. it wasnt there before i downloaded ex-pro 3.2

i did recieve a message telling me some settings were created on an older version, and i chose to install with default settings. could it be one of those settings that is screwing me up/

just for fun, i opened xara, drew a circle, put a beveled edge on it, and exported it. it has a white square around it when i post it. it has never done that before. it used to just export the circle.

YES... Make sure you select true color+ alpha, not just true color. TRue color will give you the white box...

See examples below... white box=true color
    transparent background = truecolor+alpha
