PNG export not exporting correctly

Xara 3.2.2 PNG exporting when opened in Photoshop does not give you a whole number, it rounds off to 3 decimals?

Also, why in the export options does it not have a 72dpi res it has 96, then 75 and 50, adding a 72 to the list would be easy enough I would think.

you can always type in any number you want...

1345 DPI works rather well for me, Though it does make for some really large files.

when I export from xara as png at 300dpi, it is reported by windows as 299 dpi
and photoshop as 299.999 dpi - I can't remember the last time, if ever, that this was not the case.

it has never caused me problems, so I've never got round to looking into it

I seem to recall there was a partial explanation given somewhere but I can't find it - maybe if someone knows they will post
