    Default Recolor Grayscale

I made a Gray blend bitmap copy.

The second down in left click, and the bottom is right click. What I was seeing was that with the left click, black was not recolored.

Bitmap transparency with the same colorization except right and left click.

    Thanks Rich,
That's an interesting option and a handy trick.

Try right click to recolor the black one color, and then a left click the recolor the gray another color.

On your last example, I'd try a transparency blend between the purple version you just posted and a version that has only been contoned gray. Maybe gray bottom half going to purple top half somehow. It looks pretty as it is, though.
