old troubles again

Well I've been productive with Xara now since March, and two issues have arisen. First I have a file, once again with an "internal error" that won't open. I know there was a program that would unlock it. If someone would be so kind.

Also, my purchased edition needs to update my DL edition. I've tried a number of times and can't get the old to delete in order to install the CD version.

The Expandxar.exe file can be downloaded from the XaraXone at http://www.xaraxone.com/html/shareware.html

Expandxar.exe is a command line application and the directions on how to use it are also provided at the above link.

I have never uninstalled a download version before installing the CD version. If you have setup custom toolbars you can retain them simply by installing the CD version over the DL version. When you first start the program after installing from CD you are asked if you want to keep the old configuration. I always answer that I want to keep my current configuration and my custom toolbars remain.

What error are your getting when opening the file?

I opened your file using Xtreme Pro 3.2.2.2228 and did not see any error.

I was also able to open the file without a problem.
( although my computer substituted the font )
I've renamed the file and saved.
Try opening this one instead.

Hmm - curious - Xara Xtreme 2.0f -- I get "spurious internal error" with the first and Xara quits. AndFarr's file opens fine.
