What happened to the bitmap fill?

Trying the new version but what happened to the bitmap fill? Can't fill a object with double click in the bitmap browser and how to fill object with image on 100% size?

Why changed this? don't get it... or am I overlooking something?

What he's saying is that, generally, bitmaps will be replaced with bitmaps, but shapes won't.

If a bitmap is underneath a shape which is more than half-way transaparent, then that appears to Xara as if you're dropping the new bitmap fill onto the original bitmap. And so that will replace the original bitmap with the new one.

And, finally, you can always force a bitmap fill onto anything by holding down Shift as you drag the fill from the Fills Gallery.

Actually, having tested it...

If a bitmap is covered by a shape which is at all transparent, then that appears to Xara as if you're dropping the new bitmap fill onto the original bitmap. And so that will replace the original bitmap with the new one.

You have to try it to see!
