Default Staples is stupid...can't print .xar files

My printer toner is done...two days before a major print, go figure. So, I have to punt.

I called Staples (only gig in town to do printing) and they said they don't know how to print .xar files. I asked them to simply download the XXP demo to print natively but they refused. Is there another format I can send this file in that will NOT change, alter, diminush, etc. its output from the original look I've created in the .xar format?

Please include tricks or caveats with your suggestions based on your experiences.

    Thanks...

Staples can print Bipmaps (jpg, png)

or you can export as eps or pdf. either will print.

    good luck.

going from a RGB mdeium to a CMYK medium you are going to have color differences. (Like wet paint and dry paint) It all depends on what you need printed and how many colors. If it is 4 color, then PDF with simulate print colors on sounds like your safest bet.

I just sent a 2 color off this morning for print as an .ai. Black and a pantone spot color...
