Excellent motion illusion Salaam!
Most convincing illusion Salaam.

Thanks,
I spent a fair while trying to get the effect of travelling. In the end I just attempted to move the middle section & not bother with the effect & there it was, accidental motion
It's a shame that bevels do not work with 'tweening'.
Interesting effect. Makes me dizzy.

Reminds me of things I'd program on my old ZX-81!
'Nice' effect - fatally flawed since you can't actually drive through the channel tunnel.. ;-)
Whatever tunnel it might be I won't be driving through it!
Pretty neat! Maybe you can make one with a car ?

Salaam,
About 3 years ago I saw a Flash animation that used raster images in a very similar manner. As the viewer moved further into the scene the bitmap enlarged, whilst a new smaller bitmap in the background gradually took it's place.
To join all the bitmaps together it had a vector "root" or "branch" like object running throughout the sequence, which was seamlessly looped.
Unfortunately I can't find the original url but your animation reminded me of the technique.

Ooops! Yeah you're right (I always assumed you could).
That should have read; 'It's a shame that Blends don't work..' It would have reduced the frames tremendously.
My first Tunnel was brown and white. I.e. a ZX Spectrum version.
Thanks Bruce, the driver is actually in the background with the lines running on top of him. I wouldn't know how to do what you've suggested in XXpro, although it would be very easy in my SWiSHmax.
