3.2.2 Fill Gallery + TIFF

I am just about in tears. Xara now refuses to produce thumbnails of TIFF bitmaps in the Fill Gallery.

PLUS if you have an existing gallery from previous versions and add a new TIFF file to it; update, it not only does not add a thumbnail for it it removes all the existing thumbnails for TIFFs

It will only accept .jpg, .png & .gif.

Is this a new thing they think we don't need, like a full set of colors on the color bar?

I never use tiffs Judi but I've passed this link on to the Xtreme developers.

ouch - thats going to be a real inconvenience when making textures in Corel Painter.... which doesn't do png........ jpg and gif ain't really good enough...

Thank you for finding this issue and apologies for any inconvenience it is causing you. It will be addressed before the CDs are duplicated.

As a workaround, it will actually work if you rename your TIF files to .png...
