Yep you are right, it was the ancestry SF font tilde.
And yes it happens time after time, when I tried it.
Thanks, I now know what it was , not the program but the font.

Wgich makes me sadbecause it has just the right shape I liked for the idea
Maybe I trace it and use that.

Just for fun, had a shot at copying it (after turning it into an editable shape... which it wasn't... would not show points or allow changing). My shape is the one at the top.
