Scaled drawings

Has anyone got any tips as regards setting up Xara so that it can be used to draw scaled landscape drawings? What I have in mind is producing A1 size drawings using a scale of something like 1:100.

under the utilities=>options menu there is a scaling tab. Select the use scale factor and type in what you want what to equal what. ! mile = 1 kumquat whatever...
