Excellent... but my son's name is Seth... change it ok James?
hahahaa! j/k man!
Nice modeling. What army is this soldier in? Don't think I would want to engage him in hand to hand combat.

haha, ah damn, sorry bout that Mark... I was wanting to call him Lenno, but there was another member on another board who is named Lenno, so then I racked my brain for a name which would fit this slithering gaurd... hence Seth... didn't even hit my memory, that your son was named Seth... uggg... hehe...
hey, Speaking of whom, how's the big little guy doing? Boy, I bet he is at a very fun stage in life eh... You guys must be ontop of the World ... Family fun times everyday
Hi Bill... Thanks... this is just an exercise in gaining different forms from a very boxy base head mesh we are currently studying and redefining...
stay Tuned
yea, here's a slight update on this soldier... now I have to go in and fix and change some geom so as this guy will work correctly if animated, but yea, got the concept worked out ok to this point... after I fix and scale and tweak all the parts of the mesh I will look at making some battle goods for this guy...
As much as I enjoyed doing Batboy, it is pretty much dead end for that kind of char from here on in for me... I much like doing my own chars, like this guy...
more to come...
Well, I think I have finished the legs, and will move over to the tail and then up to the arms...
I think one would have a pretty hard time out running this guy
Love the way this is headed James. Nice work so far.
Freaky insectizoid/reptilian soldier creature for sure dude!!

Cool char bud
Yea, thanks guys... hehe, coolo description there Richard...
This char has me going both ways... I mean I want it to end up a toon like char, but I was fooling around with some textures and when I rendered the legs, they ended up coming accross too realistic for the type of face I have modeled for this guy...
hehe, and though the texture is far from actually being totaly realistic, it still has to be toned a way down towards toonville, in order to make this guy look balanced... funny stuff...
For more realism use a Fractal fill for the skin and for a toon use a really intense Fractal fill! It will add some needed variety to the skin. Like the bump map you added in there. Looks good!
