I haven't yet upgraded. From the description it looks like they've added better support for importing text. The odd thing for me is that there's no mention of supporting underlined text, which seems a bizarre omission to still have.

I like the way that it recovers from errors.

While altering the justification of text spread across 3 linked text-boxes, I was presented with:

"Internal program error 699.k.no.ts."

Click Ok and...

... back to work.

Sorry Odat, I didn't get that....

When I use the re-sizing handles, the corners go asymetric (like they always have). I've tried every permutation and combination of tool bar settings, not to mention key combinations and cannot re-size a rectangle and have the corners symmetrical. What am I missing? The fix for the long-standing rounded corner issue was essentially the only reason I upgraded to 3.2.

Must say, in keeping with others here, I'm profoundly underwhelmed so far with this version

The corner rounding remains the same as long as you use the rectangle tool to resize the rectangle. If you use the regular resize controls then the old behavior is used instead.

Thanks Steven; I actually fluked it a while after I posted...I hadn't noticed that subtle little "+" re-size handle...I had been grabbing the corners and moving those

What is the smart line colouring feature? PS thanks Egg for the colour bar - as I missed that.

I think the smart line colouring feature is when you can left click on a colour and if a line is selected it will be changed to the selected colour.

Previously a lift click would not change the line, only the fill.

It may be because of lack of common useage of underlining. Underlining used to be a way of adding emphasis to the printed word when typewriters were in widespread use. Since word processors and computers, people quite often use Bold or Italic fonts.

I may be wrong, but the above could explain the low priority Xara gave to supporting underlined text.
