    Wecome to the forum Kamran.

You need to Powerclip your image into your text. Do a Help search on Powerclipping for a full step by step for your version of Draw.

You can do it both in CorelDRAW and in PhotoPaint.

    http://www.corel.com/servlet/Satelli.../1153321231905 (PowerClips in DRAW)

    (A similar effect in PhotoPaint)

    Hi,

Thanks for the kind reply. I am sorry , that i could not explain my question. I mean to say that i want to make a certificate and there i wana use the institute name in the background of the page and over on it the whole text will be typed or write.

    Please solve the problem.

I think what you are wanting to make is a watermark, which is text or objects in the background which are made transparent so that they are pale and can be overprinted as you say.

Use the Interactive Transparency tool to reduce the transparency of what you want to create as the watermark. This works on both vectors and bitmaps.
