Hi!
I've just started using Xara Xtreme Pro and have got a problem I can't sort out without your help. Is there any way to get rid of white background before converting the Xara image to raster? All ways I tried gave me my object in a white square

Hi Alraune,
Welcome to Talkgraphics.
The raster format you choose determines if a transparent background is possible.
If you select .gif or .png those formats support a transparent background. Before exporting to either of those formats you will achieve best results if you have the same background colour or texture you plan to use with the .gif or .png file. The .gif format only support up to 256 colours and antialiases with the background colour. The .png format using 256 colours or less also antialiases to the background colour. The .png format can support True Color with Alpha that does not antialias to the background but creates larger file sizes.
The Export dialog has a 'wine glass' button to toggle the background transparency.
