OT: Is there any place I sign up the Xara newsletter? As a registered user, I have never received any newsletter in the past...I hate missing out deals like the previous eyecandy special...
Wall you can sign up for the Xara Outsider newsletter on the Xara.com main page. Simply enter your email address in the box on the lower right of the middle section of the page. http://www.xara.com/
To sign up for the MAGIX newletter go to their home page http://site.magix.net/english-us/home/ you may need another language. Select the language at the top of the page toward the right where a small flag appears.
The register for the newsletter link should be in the top of the right most column on the page.

Yes, I know. But I talk about more information and more details.
Remi
yes sorry Remi
I understand that - I want more info too
theres a pdf brochure thing, but no trial that I could find.
my concern was - is this the xara xtreme [as apposed to pro] replacement? - its not on the xara site.
if its not the xara xtreme replacement, then are we going to end up with three versions?

As far as I know, the strategy from MAGIX was, to push the "consumer version" of Xara Xtreme through their marketing channels and Xara Ltd. should keep the "professional line" (Xara Xtreme Pro).
That means
- there is no more Xara Xtreme, instead there is now "MAGIX Xtreme Photo & Graphic Designer" available
- perhaps Xara Xtreme Pro is renamed to MAGIX Xtreme Pro or something else
But finally, this is pure speculation, because there are no official infos available.
