exporting to JPEG

I created a brochure for a friend using 8.5 X 11 page size. Now I want to export to a common file, such as JPEG (just for their review), but when I try to export, It seems to ignore the page size and only captures the size of the graphics ?

Any idea what I'm doing wrong? I want them to see it just as I have created it.

have you ticked the page option on the bitmap size tab of the export dialog box?
I seem to remember it defaults to selection - or drawing if nothing selected and I think you have to reset it every time you export if you want page
